MEET OUR TRAINER

KELLEY CORSON

Over the past decade, I’ve gained experience working with dogs in various environments. When I adopted Pepper five years ago, her initial fearfulness and reactivity led me to dive deeply into dog behavior. Named after a spice, Pepper’s complex emotions ignited my passion for working with dogs who, like her, have big feelings and often face misunderstanding. That same year, I began working at the New Hampshire SPCA as an adoption counselor, further deepening my commitment to helping "spicy" dogs and their unique needs.

In 2021, I became a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training partner after graduating from their Dog professional program. During that same year, I moved to Austin, TX. While there I started to work for an amazing Non-Profit organization, Every Dog Behavior and Training. After my incredible journey meeting the best dogs (including Clove!) in Austin, I moved back to New Hampshire to rejoin the team at the New Hampshire SPCA as their Manager of the Behavior and Training Department.

I’m passionate about humane, positive, and force-free training because I believe every dog deserves to be treated with kindness. My goal is to make learning enjoyable for both you and your dog.

MEET MY SPICY DOGS
PEPPER AND CLOVE

MEET PEPPER

In the spring of 2019, I adopted the cutest little rescue dog who, at only six months old, was very afraid of the world. In the past few years we have embarked on a journey together tackling her fears, anxieties, and triggers to build her confidence, comfort. Pepper is my original spicy dog who has taught me so much!

MEET CLOVE

While a dog trainer in Texas, my world changed when Clove came barreling into my life. At just three months old, Clove made sure every dog and person was his best friend. He loves life to the fullest, but definitely has spicy dog tendencies.
